OMG 2 Trailer Review: After much waiting, the trailer for "OMG 2", featuring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, was unveiled on Thursday, August 3.

In the sequel to the 2012 superhit film of the same name "OMG - Oh My God", Akshay plays the messenger of Lord Shiva, who is seen to arrive on earth to guide Pankaj Tripathi as he challenges the Indian education system.

The three-minute trailer promises to deliver a blend of humour, emotions, and thought-provoking themes that challenge societal norms, shown with a gripping cinematic experience.

The trailer opens with Lord Shiva ordering Nandi to send a messenger to guide one of his devotees who seems to be in trouble.

That devotee's role is essayed by Pankaj Tripathi, aka Kanti Sharan Mudgal, who takes legal action against his son's school as he gets expelled for a "vulgar act."

Witnessing his son's struggle with the resulting stigma, Tripathi's character turns to divine intervention, leading to the emergence of Akshay's character from the Ganges.

This means that Kumar will be seen as only a messenger of God.

Akshay and Pankaj are the leading forces in OMG-2, their banter and camaraderie is absolutely impeccable.

From the video, we also understand that Pankaj has filed a court suit against his son's school, fighting for his son's education rights.

He is also defending the case.

The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Pankaj locking horns with Yami Gautam, who plays a lawyer.

While Shiva's messenger guides Kanti on the right path, the courtroom drama promises a thrilling and gripping watch, questioning several societal norms.

Just nine days away from its release, OMG 2 has embroiled itself in controversies relating to its censorship certification.

As per reports, the film was sent for revision to the Censor Board of Film Certification's revision committee.

Because the film delves into religion, the board wanted to be sure of its content.
